Laundry

Busy households and businesses already have too much on their plates: running errands, taking kiddos to sports or music lessons, often two working parents leaves little time to clean the house or do laundry.  Clean House Cincinnati is proud to offer a limited number of client spots for pick up/drop off laundry services!

How does it work?  Similarly to house cleaning, we schedule clients based on location so that we limit our drive time and added miles.  Our 5-step laundry services process:

1.  Call the office and provide the average number of loads per month you do & number of people in the household; we can give a quote in about 5 minutes right over the phone (or you can estimate it by CLICKING HERE)

2.  We will schedule a regular weekly or bi-weekly pick up day and time.  For the first pick up, please have all laundry in plastic bags (or cloth if you have!) not hampers ready by 9am on your scheduled day on the porch, garage, or any other easily accessible safe place outside so you do not have to be home.

3.  We will pick up and properly wash your clothes with your selected products.  These items will be selected at time of scheduling, including type of detergent (scented, free & clear), liquid fabric softener, dryer sheets, scent beads, Lysol laundry sanitizer, vinegar, etc.

4.  Your clean laundry will be folded and sorted by household member!  We will return in custom cloth laundry totes that you will then send with future pick ups to save on plastic bags.  Generally laundry will be returned within 1-2 business days, depending on how much laundry and the tie of day picked up.  We strive for 1 business day, and will notify you on pick-up day when it will be returned.

5.  Enjoy your time and wait for your next scheduled pick-up!

Since 2015, we have always provided transparency in our pricing which makes things easy and clear for clients to compare with other services.  CLICK HERE TO ESTIMATE YOUR LAUNDRY ORDER COST Trust is the key to our success and hundreds of clients have appreciated our approach.  There are two factors in pricing for laundry services:

DISTANCE: Part of helping reduce your price (and reduce our extra miles driven) is by scheduling your pick-up to coincide with other cleanings or laundry pick-ups.  If you REQUIRE certain days of the week that are not close to other jobs, we may add on a trip fee to cover the added time/miles to reach your home.  This will be clarified on your quote call.

NUMBER OF LOADS: More laundry takes more electricity, water, cleaning products, and time to fold and sort.  For this reason, we charge by the pound and weigh as soon as we return home with your order before laundering.  You may also weigh when placing outside – simply weigh yourself on a bathroom scale, then weigh yourself again holding your laundry bag and subtract your weight.

We charge $1.50 per pound and for add-ons (liquid softener, dryer sheets, scent beads, Lysol laundry sanitizer, vinegar) we charge $.50 each per load of laundry, with a minimum $30 per order fee.  Some examples:

EXAMPLE A: We schedule a pick-up that’s already near another job so don’t need to add on any trip fee.  Once home, your laundry is weighed and comes to 20 pounds.  You selected liquid softener and we were able to do your laundry in 2 loads.  Your card on file will be charged $31 + Ohio sales tax (20 x $1.50=$30  +  2 loads x $.50=$1)

EXAMPLE B: You need a pick-up that’s not already near another job but it’s not too far out of our way so we add on a $10 trip fee.  Once home, your laundry is weighed and comes to 35 pounds.  You selected liquid softener and scent beads, and we were able to do your laundry in 4 loads.  Your card on file will be charged $64.50 + Ohio sales tax (35 x $1.50=$52.50  +  4 loads x $.50=$2  +  $10 trip fee)

Nothing complicated or crazy, all very understandable and clear in our pricing!   We require a credit card on file that will be charged after laundry is completed AND returned to you.  An emailed receipt will detail the transaction.

Businesses can also need laundry services: bars, restaurants, spas, hair salons, massage therapists…  So many of these small businesses need a little extra help and taking laundry off your already-too-full plate is an easy fix!  For higher-volume business needs, we can do weekly or twice weekly pick-ups.
